Meet Dr. Elison

 

Idaho Falls dentist, Dr Michael A. Elison, received his degree in dentistry from the University of Louisville in Kentucky, where he was a member of the Dean’s Honor List.
 

Dr. Elison is a native of Idaho Falls, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. He received an associate’s degree in Natural Science from Ricks College and a bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Brigham Young University.

 

Dr. Elison is a proud member of the American Dental Association and the Idaho Dental Association.  He has also recently served as president of the Upper Snake River Dental Society. 

 

He chose the field of family dentistry because he loves the idea of working with an entire family and having the opportunity to see each one as the years go by. Dr. Elison has a wife, daughter, and four sons. He is very happy to have established his practice in Idaho Falls because of the area's family values and beautiful scenery.

Dr. Elison is excited to be a member of the Idaho Falls community and serve the wonderful people here. He is a dentist that wants to give the kind of care his family would want to receive.

Amy

From an early age, Amy wanted to work in the medical profession but in a field that would allow her to focus on her role as a mom.  In high school, she was able to observe the work of a dentist.  That experience helped her decide to pursue her career in dentistry.  Amy graduated from ISU with her bachelors in dental hygiene in 2003. 

After moving to the Idaho Falls area, Amy joined Elison Dental Center in July of 2012.  Since that time she has enjoyed working with patients and educating them regarding oral health and its connection to their overall health.  Amy is enthusiastic about her work and emphasizes that Dr. Elison and staff make a great team!

Dianne

Dianne joined Elison Dental Center in December 2015 after working in Las Vegas, for seven years.  Graduating from Idaho State University in 1997 with her B.S. in dental hygiene, Dianne continued her education and received a laser fellowship from UNLV in 2008.  

Dianne enjoys her work at Elison Dental Center because of the great staff, new technologies, and especially the way everyone helps patients feel comfortable. 

Dianne enjoys sewing, playing the piano, and spending time with her husband and two children.  Whenever they can, she and her husband love taking their Harley out for a spin!

Ruth

 

Ruth studied at Everest College in Los Angeles, California, to become a dental assistant. She has been a dental assistant for over 5 years and loves her job.  Ruth moved to Idaho Falls in 2011 and delights in the Eastern Idaho lifestyle.

Ruth enjoys working with people and helping them feel good about their smile.

She loves working with Dr. Elison and the great staff at Elison Dental Center.  One of her favorite things about working with Dr. Elison is the continual focus on providing a family friendly environment. She thinks is it wonderful to be able to treat entire families.

 

Madison

 

Madison has been with Elison Dental Center since May 10, 2016 where she began her work as a dental assistant.  Madison was born and raised in Blackfoot and is a proud graduate of Snake River High School. She was fascinated with the work at dental offices so she decided to pursue it as a career.  

After graduating from high school, Madison studied at BYU-Idaho and Eastern Idaho Technical College where she earned her dental assistant certificate that led her to Elison Dental Center.   She loves working at Elison Dental Center because of the fun and friendly work environment, the opportunity she has to learn more about dentistry, but most of all, being able to meet patients and help them  on a daily basis. 

Madison is the youngest of two brothers and one sister whom she enjoys spending time with anytime she can.  In her free time she loves to travel, dance, run and play the piano.

 

Rebecca

 

Rebecca graduated from Bell Gardens High School located in Bell Gardens California.   After high school, she worked a variety of jobs and then began working in the insurance industry earning her license in property and casualty Insurance.

After moving from California with her family, Rebecca began working for Dr. Elison in April of 2016.  Rebecca works the front office where she enjoys the interaction with patients each day.  She enjoys working at Dr. Elison’s office because of the friendly environment in which to work.

Rebecca loves spending time with her family, especially in the outdoors.   Rebecca is very talented musically and she enjoys playing the guitar, piano and saxophone.

 

Josie

Josie grew up in a large family in Seattle Washington.  She learned to work hard in her youth which helped her in a variety of jobs making her way through college.  She has worked as a roofer and a landscaper.   

After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Fine Art Education, she worked in a Snoqualmie Veterinary Hospital and for Edge Creek Management Company before joining the Elison Dental Center team in September of 2016. 

Josie is outgoing and loves getting to know the patients at Elison Dental Center and contributing to the warm and inviting environment.  In her spare time, Jose enjoys sports, painting, eating, and working on her fluency in “sarcasm.”
